Distinctive features
The redundant plant includes two CPUs and keeps the process control active, even when one of the two CPUs fails. The DCS (Distributed Control System) acquires and processes data. This way the supervision system can control the entire plant. The PID controller controls the speed of the conveyor belt based on the amount of gypsum to process.
Advantages for the client
We have reached high reliability and safety levels thanks to CPU redundancy. The control made by the DCS allows us to process all data through to the graphics to optimise production and reduce costs.
